In SPARK! Issue 31, we shared how Shelby County Public Schools went to our community, asked what mattered, and built a dashboard around their answers. That was the right first step. But here is what we have learned since…a dashboard by itself is just a prettier way of reporting confusing data. Real transformation – the kind that changes how teachers teach, how leaders lead, and how students see themselves – requires something deeper: a systemic ecosystem.
