DLAC’s Leadership Strategy Summits are immersive, hands-on sessions designed to equip digital learning leaders with the tools, insights, and connections they need to drive meaningful change. These gatherings bring together a think-tank of experts to explore evolving trends, tackle pressing challenges, and develop practical resources that support the work of our members across the country.

Our in-person strategy summits focus on deepening knowledge, sharing diverse perspectives, and producing actionable deliverables. Each retreat follows a structured format to ensure participants can dive into topics relevant to today’s digital learning landscape. The sessions include:

Topic Deep Dives

Each summit tackles critical themes, from AI integration and stakeholder engagement to digital equity and emerging 
educational trends.

Breakout Sessions

Participants engage in interactive discussions, brainstorm solutions, and collaborate in small groups to address specific challenges.

Action-Oriented Outcomes

Each summit is designed to produce deliverables that are immediately applicable in participants’ local contexts, such as frameworks, templates, and strategy guides. These tools empower members to implement insights from the retreat within their schools, districts, or organizations.

Great mix of participants—variety of educational roles, geographic diversity, and all-around fun people! The networking opportunities, both formal and informal, were excellent.
