The length of your session depends on the type of session you selected/were accepted for. DLAC session lengths range from 6 minutes and 40 seconds to 75 minutes. You can find the length of each session type at: www.deelac.com/sessiontypes or in your acceptance email.

Please note that all presentations, except for Table Talks and Poster Sessions, will be held in a room equipped with WiFi and a projector/screen. Speakers will be expected to provide their own laptops and necessary adaptors to connect to the projector.
-
DLAC sessions are scheduled in 75-minute blocks of time. Some speakers (Workshops, Panel Discussions, Organized Session of Talks, and Debates) are given the full 75-minute block of time. Three Contributed Talks are scheduled back to back during the 75-minute block in each room, and Pecha Kuchas are scheduled with 6 back to back sessions in one room. A moderator will be assigned to these rooms to watch the time and ensure each speaker gets their full length of time to present. We will send you an email confirming your acceptance, including the date, time, and location of your session, in mid-November once the program is finalized. Please note that room assignments may change before the conference; any updates will be reflected in the online program and the conference app.

IMPORTANT SCAM WARNINGS
The DLAC organizers are aware of scams circulating among our attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors, and we wish to make you aware of them, too. Most recently, scammers are including conference logos at the bottom of their messages to make the messages look more authentic, and we don’t want you to be misled by this.
Please disregard any emails claiming to have the DLAC 2024 attendee list, complete with contact details. Rest assured that this is NOT the case, and all such claims are false. DLAC is committed to keeping your data secure at all times.
In addition, please be aware of scammers claiming access to discounted rates and room availability at official DLAC hotels. Again, these scammers do NOT have this access, and booking through these third-party providers may result in exorbitant lodging rates as well as make it impossible for you to cancel a reservation or receive a refund. We strongly recommend you only book through the links on the DLAC website or those provided by our registration team.
If you have any questions or are uncertain about a mailing you have received, please reach out to us at dlac@evergreenedgroup.com.
